Project Code Name "UberBasic"
Project Code Name "UberBasic" is a shell replacement for Windows 98, XP and eventually Windows Code Name "Longhorn". "UberBasic" follows three basic ideals:
| |
| 1) Usability -- What’s the point of using it if it difficult to use. |
| 2) Minimalistic -- "UberBasic" is meant to use as little system resource as possible, and will even give extreme minimalists the option to remove almost all graphics |
| 3) Look Good -- Just cause its designed to use little system resources there is no rule saying it cant have a decent graphical user interface that use fraction of the memory used by explorer.exe |
Project Code Name "UberBasic" is meant as a developmental project only, and not meant for general public usage, but examples will be available for free download as the project progresses.
